April Anderson

Biography:
April Anderson has been studying and practicing yoga since 2009. She completed Yin Yoga Training in 2015 and 200-hour RYT in 2016, both with MOSAIC in San Diego. Though her primary study in yoga began with the physical aspects of asana, the spiritual side of the practice is what really drew her in and inspired her passion for working to bring balance to the yin and yang energies. Since 2014, April has studied more intensely the yin side of yoga, as well as energy balancing work. In addition to her love for and dedication to the spiritual arts, April enjoys the creative arts, including writing, creating blends of essential oil, and designing Malas to assist in meditation and prayer. April holds a PhD in English, and often her classes infuse philosophy, literature, and historical aspects of the yogic tradition. As an instructor, she focuses on inspiration and emphasizes yoga as a spiritual practice—something we constantly work to cultivate and grow. Find me on Instagram: @thecruellestmonth
