Our Programs

Prenatal Yoga

Prenatal Yoga

Prenatal yoga is an excellent way to prepare for pregnancy, the birthing experience, the postpartum period, and parenthood. Classes are designed to explore and honor the wisdom of the body. They will also give you the opportunity to share your current concerns, practice intentionally with the breath, and create a supportive community.

Research suggests that prenatal yoga is safe through pregnancy and can help to

  • Improve sleep

  • Reduce stress and anxiety

  • Increase the strength, flexibility, and endurance of muscles needed for childbirth

  • Decrease lower back pain, nausea, swelling, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome symptoms, headaches, and shortness of breath

  • Shorten the stages of labor

Note: Prenatal classes are reserved for people who are pregnant or who wish to become pregnant.
