New to Yoga?
If you are new to yoga, we recommend one of the following entry-level classes to get started:
Yoga Foundations is the perfect place to start if you’ve never taken a yoga class or haven’t practiced in a while. Practitioners are introduced to the fundamentals of Hatha Yoga with an emphasis on proper alignment. This class helps to establish a solid foundation for a safe and healthy practice. Mondays at 6:00pm with April Anderson.
Gentle Hatha is a perfect option if you prefer to move at a slower pace and want more detailed instruction. Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30am with Eva Kastel.
Yin is a slow-paced style of yoga with poses that are held for longer periods of time and focus on the deeper tissues of the body. Tuesdays at 7:30pm with Angela Moreira and Sundays at 6:00pm with April Anderson.
Restorative is a practice that incorporates five or six poses designed to facilitate rest and relaxation. Props are used to support students in holding poses for longer periods of time. Mondays at 4:00pm with Nancy Leigh-Smith and Fridays at 4:00pm with Corey Izzo.
Core: Pilates & Yoga
The Core class is an all-levels class that offers step-by-step instruction for learning a full complement of Pilates mat exercises. Each exercise maintains respect for the level and needs of the individual student. Wednesdays at 6:00pm with Barbara Lande.
