Intro to Yoga/Beginning Yoga focuses on teaching the basics of the physical practice of yoga. Students are supported with specific and detailed instructions to ensure good alignment that safely allows them to work with the poses. This class tends to be slower-paced and makes liberal use of props to ensure that all students feel comfortable as they begin their yoga practice.
Kids Yoga is a high-energy class for children 7 years and older. Children learn about bodies’ bones and muscle groups, increase strength and flexibility, and develop an ability to focus through breathing awareness and breathing exercises. The primary focus of this class, however, is to give children a chance to appreciate their own bodies and their own abilities without judgement or competition.
